About Wellington Fields

In 2005, the City of Waltham acquired The Wellington House, an historic building in Waltham, and the farm land to the east of it, located at 735 Trapelo Road. The Wellington House has been historically restored with grants from Waltham's Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds.

The farm land had not been cared for nor managed for many years. That changed when volunteers called the Friends of Wellington Fields, a project of the Waltham Land Trust, and the city of Waltham, started on restoration of the farm land called Wellington Fields.

If you’d like to help with stewardship activities at Wellington Fields, please email Sonja to get the stewardship interest form, which once completed and sent back to Sonja, will result in you being added to the stewards’ e-list where we post these opportunities
