Early Morning Bird Walk, June 30, 2024
Fourteen birders met at 7:00 a.m. just over the town line at the Sears Land in Weston. WLT member and super birder Michele Grzenda led the group to the heron rookery there. They saw 35 bird species, including an Indigo Bunting, an Eastern bluebird, a Red-tailed hawk, a Gray catbird, Great Blue herons, an Eastern kingbird, a Copper’s hawk, and a chipping sparrow.
