Jericho Hill Hike, March 7, 2020
March 13, 2020

In an effort to show the beautiful and challenging topography of the Jericho Hill parcel, sandwiched between the 554 Lexington property where the new Waltham High School will be built and the Sanderson Heights parcel, the WLT organized a last minute hike for City Councillors and members of the general public. 65 people came! Nature and gorgeous views of the Boston skyline and the summit of Prospect Hill were observed.

Over 60 nature lovers of all ages came to Christ Church for a program with Rick Roth the Snake Man and the Cape Ann Vernal Pool Team . We were introduced to many snakes found in New England and the world. Members of the team walked through the audience with them so everyone could see up close and take photos. Afterwards, brave people who wanted to hold the legless reptiles were given that opportunity. Many thanks to the Waltham Cultural Council for supporting this event!
