“Plogging” along the Charles, March 27, 2021
April 6, 2021
Seventeen people of all ages turned up to "plog"--pick up litter while jogging (or walking). Amazing WLT volunteer steward Amanda and her daughter led the activity. They collected litter from all sides of the Moody Street dam and along the Riverwalk to Prospect Street. Many thanks to NovaBio for allowing us to use their dumpster, as they did in previous plogs.

Over 60 nature lovers of all ages came to Christ Church for a program with Rick Roth the Snake Man and the Cape Ann Vernal Pool Team . We were introduced to many snakes found in New England and the world. Members of the team walked through the audience with them so everyone could see up close and take photos. Afterwards, brave people who wanted to hold the legless reptiles were given that opportunity. Many thanks to the Waltham Cultural Council for supporting this event!
