On July 24, twenty-two mushroom enthusiasts met at 200 5th Ave to access Prospect Hill Park in search of fungi. International mycologist Lawrence Millman led the adventure. We saw more fungi varieties than ever before, thanks to the abundance of rain. Lots more photos on our Flickr site.

On Sunday, July 11, fourteen hardy people worked on clearing the land around the historic Wellington House on Trapelo Road. 25 folks and one dog celebrated the Vernal Equinox with a chilly walk at Prospect Hill Park. We met at Craft Food Hall and trekked on the "alternate" New Year's Day hike route on the park's west-side to the vista at Little Prospect.
