WALTHAM WALKS! Senior Stroll & Healthy Snack at UMASS Field Station

On October 11, 2017 the Waltham Land Trust joined forces with Healthy Waltham and Waltham Fields Community Farm to offer a special event just for seniors. After hearing a little about some of the groups working at the UMASS Field Station (240 Beaver Street), folks walked to the Learning Garden and enjoyed fresh salad prepared by Healthy Waltham. Alex provided a very informative tour of the Farm and then Sonja took hardy participants for a stroll through the Green Rows of Waltham community garden.
