Welcome to Smith Point!

Smith Point is located on a small peninsula jutting into Hardy Pond. This 1/8 acre parcel is owned and preserved by the Waltham Land Trust (WLT). WLT is proud to allow greater public access to Waltham's largest body of water.

WLT Stewards and community volunteers have built a walking path, bog bridges and placed benches for the public’s enjoyment. Native plants have also been chosen to replace the invasive plants that were removed. From this vantage point you can see a wide variety of wild life.
