Join over 1,500 volunteers from communities, universities, civic groups, and businesses for the largest river cleanup of the year along the Charles River.

Volunteers make a huge difference in the health and beauty of the river by picking up trash at numerous sites along the 80-mile river from Milford to Boston. The Charles River Watershed Association will provide cleanup supplies, t-shirts, refreshments, and instructions on when, where, and how you can help. To establish a site in your area or for more information contact the Charles River Watershed Association. The Cleanup is organized by Charles River Watershed Association, The Esplanade Association, Charles River Stream Team, Charles River Conservancy, MASSPIRG, State Senator Steven Tolman’s Office, and the City of Newton .
