Say goodbye to winter and greet the new season with a stroll on the Charles River Greenway. Trustees of Reservations Ranger Susan Ekstrom will help us celebrate birds, bulbs, and other signs of Spring as we head downriver towards Watertown Square.
The official start of Spring is truly something to celebrate. Join us as we welcome the coming season along the Charles River with Susan Ekstrom, a ranger with the Trustees of Reservations. We'll walk on boardwalks and pass over a beautifully constructed suspension bridge as we head towards Watertown Square. After an hour or so, we'll simply turn around and return to the Stop & Shop on Pleasant Street (River Street in Waltham). In addition to pointing out budding plants and Spring-time wildlife, Susan will tell us about volunteer opportunities with the Trustees of Reservations.
