Think globally, act locally, and help clear the Rail Trail in Waltham as part of National Trails Day.
This is National Trails Day and we give you TWO options work on the Mass Central Rail Trail. In the morning, from 9-noon, we'll be pruning, chipping, raking, and removing invasive species from the cleared stretch between Lyman Street and Middlesex Circle. From 2-4 pm, landscaping and grooming will be added to the list of tasks as employees from Varidian Energy join the effort. DCR and the young adults of the Student Conservation Association will lead the activities, providing instruction and tools. Please wear clothes that cover your arms/legs, and shoes that protect your feet (not sandals).
