Help build a new single track trail on the Western Greenway from Walnut Street to the existing Lot 1 trail system behind Brookhaven. Tools and instruction will be provided, no prior experience necessary. Bring your own water bottle and work gloves; lunch provided.
Two work days building new single track trail have been scheduled for May 15 and 21 to finish the trail link from Walnut Street in Lexington over to the existing Lot 1 trail system behind Brookhaven. We will work from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm. We welcome part time participation for those who can’t stay the whole day. Meet at Cart Path Lane off Walnut Street, which is the new street for the eventual housing development being built on the large cleared lot adjacent to Lot 1. Lunch will be provided but bring your own water bottle and a pair of work gloves. Tools and instruction will be provided, no prior experience necessary.
