The Waltham Land Trust and 11 other organizations will host Earth Day events at the UMass Field Station and Cedar Hill Girl Scout Campus on Beaver Street.
The Waltham Earth Day 2007 will bring attention to practices, ideas and projects that are underway in and around Waltham that help sustain a healthful environment for us and generations to come. This will be the peoples’ Earth Day to celebrate progress in understanding, stewardship and enjoyment of our natural environment. You are making a difference. Let us hear about it. There will be many hands-on educational activities for both children and adults.
