Learn about birds and their habitats in this fun February school vacation activity!
During this vacation activity, we will explore how birds are equipped to live in different habitats. How does a curved beak, webbed feet, or downy feathers help our avian friends adapt to life in the forest, in the meadow, or on the river? After learning, we will paint a colorful mural of real and imaginary birds and the places they may call home. This activity is best suited for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. Light refreshments will be provided. SPACE IS LIMITED SO PLEASE REGISTER by calling 781-893-3355 or emailing info@walthamlandtrust.org. This activity is sponsored by the Waltham Cultural Council.
