Join us for a brisk walk up Prospect Hill on the first day of the new year.
This is the 7th Annual New Year's Day Hike of the Waltham Land Trust, and it's simply the best way to start off the new year. We'll meet at the South Gate at the end of Prospect Hill Road, which is off Main Street. The hike up to Boston Rock is short and steep but on a service road, so participants of all ages can do it. You'll be rewarded with magnificent views of Waltham clear into Boston. Light refreshments and warm drinks will be provided at the top, but please bring your own water bottle. This is a great activity for the whole family. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
