Gain insight about your digital camera to improve photo quality, content and artistry! Topics will include aperture, shutter speed, exposure, when to override the defaults and then tips for editing, organizing and storing your photos.
Back by popular demand, Amy Rothstein and Eric Smith will present a 2-hour workshop. Bring your own camera and manual with you so that you can follow their instructions on your own camera.
Amy Rothstein brings 15 years experience of working with photos and graphics and offers some of her photographs online. Take a look at http://www.pondproductions.com to see some of her work.
Eric Smith is a locally and nationally published wildlife photographer who lives in Waltham. He combined his long love of birds with photography with the purchase of his first digital camera six years ago and has never looked back. When he isn't out photographing in the wilds of New England he teaches digital photography for Mass Audubon. You may view some of his work at www.esmithphoto.com.
The workshop will be at 240 Beaver Street, Waltham. This workshop is free to Waltham Land Trust members. Non-members are welcome but there will be a $10. registration fee to help us defray the expenses. We ask that you register by calling the Waltham Land Trust office at 781-893-3355 or email to info@walthamlandtrust.org. Seating is limited.
NOTE: You will want to remember to bring your camera and its manual.
