Join us for the rescheduled 14th Annual Earth Day Cleanup and help remove invasive plant species from the banks of the mighty Charles River. Celebrate the strength of Boston with a picnic afterwards.
We had to reschedule the Cleanup, but it's happening. Let's make it bigger than ever! The Land Trust is leading the volunteer weed pull and we need your help removing Japanese knotweed, Oriental bittersweet and garlic mustard. Come at 9 am for the training and tools. We need bring loppers, pruners, hand saws, pruning saws, bow saws, rounded point shovels, garden spades and pitchforks--remember to put your name on what you bring. Celebrate everything we've been through afterwards with a picnic featuring sub sandwiches from Subway and D'Angelo.
